Pinoys on Parliament

What: Our Virtual Speaker Series scheduled to occur between February 15 and 18, 2021, and 20 Virtual Workshops scheduled for February 20 and 21, 2021. The proposed Speaker Series will trace the cultural heritage and traditional origins that have persisted throughout the Filipino diaspora by inviting speakers who specialize in topics, such as Philippine folklore, dance, education and cuisine.

In their words: “Pinoys on Parliament aims to foster intercultural support, youth empowerment, diversity and inclusion. All our initiatives are conducted with the hope of ensuring that every Filipino-Canadian is able to reach their potential and become active citizens within their own communities. By providing a space for fellow youth to network and learn new skills, we hope to build connections, inspire action and empower Filipino-Canadian youth in their quests to become future changemakers.”
