The Carleton University Race, Ethnicity, Culture (REC) Hall is a student-led service centre for racialized students. Carleton University REC hall provides racialized students with services like peer support and programming. Two undergraduate students aged usually 19-25 facilitate the service centre’s programming and peer support. Many students access REC Hall on a daily basis. Carleton University REC Hall’s events address race, identity and oppression. Every year Carleton University REC Hall hosts programming for Black History Month alongside volunteers.
