Climate Action Carleton

 What: This year our main focus is our divestment campaign (called Divest Now) with the goal of divesting Carleton University’s endowment fund from the fossil fuel industry. We will be working collaboratively with other local groups who fight for other social justice issues closely linked to our climate activism. We will also be hosting online events, creating newsletters, and building a municipal coalition to lobby municipal governments.

In their Words: “Success for Climate Action Carleton would look like mobilizing the Carleton University student body to advocate and create change in the fight for climate action and climate justice through our own initiatives, while also promoting and pairing with other local organizations that share similar goals to us.”
