What: Freegxrl Media is a Canadian multi-creative platform that is powered by community and dedicated to empowering black womxn. We document youth culture, shine a spotlight on creativity, and aim to shift narratives through art and conversation.

In their words: “Success four our group would look like fostering a genuine offline experience through our events, and to have a consistent flow of content for our online platform. Yes, social media is great, but we feel like real connection happens face to face. Obviously, we would respect COVID-19 guidelines in regards to social distancing and the limit of people we can have in a venue, but that is what success would look like for us.”
